Details:
Miswak wood has been used for millennia by people in Africa, the Middle East and Africa as a natural tooth brush. SWAK has created a reusable bioplastic handle which combines with replaceable miswak heads to dramatically reduce the waste associated with oral hygiene. It contains only plant-based materials and is naturally vegan. The used miswak heads can be home composted.
The handle is made from made of Polylactic Acid (PLA) which is produced from GMO-free sugar. It will break down harmlessly in around 90 days in an industrial composter, but should be disposed of in your general waste bin if that option isn't available.
How to SWAK:
Moisten the tip of the brush with saliva, nibbling it gently to soften it if needed. Gently massage the inner and outer surface of your teeth with the brush. The small head makes it easy to access gaps and crevices; there's no need to use toothpaste. Miswak heads last 4-8 weeks.
